MONVISO OFFICIAL WATER SUPPLIER TO OMEGA DUBAI CLASSICS

DUBAI, Nov 29 — Monviso, a leading natural mineral water brand from Italy, has been announced as the Official Drinking Water Supplier to the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic and the Omega Dubai Desert Classic, well known for attracting some of the world’s best golfers.

As part of the agreement, Monviso water will have a significant on-site presence to ensure the players and the support staff are refreshed and hydrated when they hit the golf course.

Bottled at source in northwest Italy at the foothills of Monviso Mountain in the Italian Alps, the brand is no stranger to the sporting landscape of the UAE, having been associated with events such as Spartan Race, the Terry Fox Run and Emirates Tower Vertical Run, but it will be their first foray into the Dubai’s premier golf tournaments, tag-lined as ‘Made for Greatness.’

Well-known for its charity initiative – Take Water. Give Life – Monviso donates one dirham for every one litre of water sold to Al Jalila Foundation, a global philanthropic organisation dedicated to transforming lives through medical education and research.

The initiative has officially been endorsed by the Dubai Sport Council, which is partnering Monviso to propose it to all sports events in Dubai and all clubs that operate under the council’s authority.

Monviso, he said, is minimally mineralized and extremely light, with one of the world’s lowest sodium levels, its unique composition making it perfect for everyone and safe for consumption in large quantities.

Featuring a top-class, led by Women’s British Open champion In-Kyung Kim, Laura Davies and Brittany Lincicome among other big names, the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic will be held at Emirates Golf Club from December 6 to 9.

The Omega Dubai Desert Classic will see a defending champion Segio Garcia join some of the leading stars such as PGA star Pat Perez, Rory McIlroy European number one Tommy Fleetwood and Henrik Stenson when the longest-running European Tour event, now in its 29th year, gets under way from January 25 to 28.
